The reason I prefer cloth swim diapers is they are much cheaper in the long run though the beginning cost may seem large. In fact your little one will need only two or three washable swim diapers so you can change them if there has been a poo accident.
You can machine wash them with other clothes and towels. I wouldn't advise that you put your little in a regular cloth diaper cover. In most cases it will do the same work but the chlorine in the water will ruin the fabric.
If you detest the thought of washing a soiled diaper than you should go for the disposable alternative. Disposable swim diapers come in packs as regular and you throw them away after each use. I wouldn't advise using a sposie more than once though it can come through a couple of laundry cycles.
The downside of using disposable swimmer diapers is they will need more space in your bag and they are actually costly.
When you go shopping for swim diapers you should keep some essential checkpoints in your mind.
A great swim diaper should be comfortable, not difficult to put on and pull off when soiled and should be made of a delicate fabric that won't give your little one a rash. My tip is to choose an adjustable swimming diaper, there are options with Velcro, snaps and strings so it fits snugly the baby's body.
Both reusable and disposable swim nappies have a great variety of colors and models to choose from. Particularly if you have a baby girl you may find it to choose only one or two as they are so adorable.
